Eric Zhang

Eric Zhang is a scientist-turned-entrepreneur and cross-border innovation leader with over 25 years of experience of international experience across Sweden, Europe, and Asia. With a Ph.D. in Wood Chemistry from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Eric has deep roots in sustainable materials and impact-driven innovation. He has successfully raised and managed multi-million SEK funding rounds from both private and institutional investors, building his previous startup from the ground up into an internationally recognized scale-up in the bio-materials sector. His hands-on experience spans from early-stage fundraising, IP strategy, and product commercialization to international business development and investor relations.

Today, through InnoX Venture, Eric focuses on empowering Nordic startups and growth companies to access Asian markets and investment opportunities — particularly in green tech, life science, and deep tech sectors.
